That particular issue was stolen from my local genealogical library before it could be bound, so I have not been able to read it. Can anyone who has read it tell me the date when and the place where Paul Reed claims that Richard, son of Francis Baildon, died? I have been looking all over the internet, and not one single person has posted it anywhere. If there is no documented date and place of death, the question is not resolved, especially since Francis Baildon of Kippax owned land in Heptonstall.
Also, the descendants of William Belden estimated his birth year to be abt 1622 long before the discovery of the marriage of a Richard Baildon to Margaret Ackrenden or the birth of a much older William to Lawrence in Ayringden (where, incidentally, Francis Baildon also owned land).
Any information is appreciated.
