ok, this is all I know...mi papa se llama Juan Tirado Belen, el papa de el se llamaba Delfin Tirado, mu abuela se llamaba Genoveva, I know my dad has sisters and brothers, some in N.Y. but most still in Puerto Rico, Zoraida, Nereida, Melquiades, I think a Francisco (pero no estoy segura!) there's more but I don't know...let me know anything please...and thank you!!

Hi, there! There are lots of Belen family in the Philippines. My grandfather was from San Pablo City, Laguna. I was born there but was raised in Oriental Mindoro, an island province in Southern Luzon. From what I can remember from childhood, we have relatives in Quezon and Laguna provinces, but I seldom visited those places now since we settled here. I'm interested to know my roots just like you.

As you can see we both have the same name! Imagine my surprise. However the my Belens hail from San German, PR for as long as they can remember. I don't know much about them or rather I don't remember. But I just thought it would be nice to find out...please reply if you have any info regarding any connections.

My sister's name is Miriam Belen, funny! I would have to talk with my father because I really do not know if we are related. I only know that I spoke with a lawyer at the Bayamon Superior Court, Edwin Belen, and he said that their are only two branches of Belen's. We are the same family, split in two. I would love to have everybody together. As soon as I call Puerto Rico I'll ask my father.

You will find Belen in Bayamon, Comerio and Aguas Buenas. There are several lawyers in Bayamon, Edwin Belen Trujillo and I believe another Edwin Belen. I have several brothers Edwin Belen Morales, Ernesto Belen, Ivan Belen, and my sisters Miriam Belen, Gladys Belen and Mirta Belen. My aunts are Isin Belen, Nelly Belen and Emma Belen. So you do have some roots in Puerto Rico. I really do not know our great parents names.

My father grew up in La Calle Comerio de Bayamon, but he had family in Comerio and Aguas Buenas. I really do not know that many people from his family, only his sisters. Since I came to the states I lost contact with them.
