My only reference was to Lovick Pierce Bellah, my grandfather. He wrote the Bellah Family Register which someone else has falsely attached their line to.

Thse 2 were my great grand parents; although I was very young when G'pa Bellah(that's what we called him) passed, I was about 8 when G'ma Bellah passed. I have been searching for someone along the same line to share information about these 2. I grew up knowing him as Grover or G.B. But the more I look into it, I noticed someone had said his death certificate listed him as Glover, not Grover. My husband recently found background info on his family, and I'm wanting to do the same.

I am looking for any information regarding Elizabeth Bellah born about 1765 and married to John McClung. She has been linked to Samuel Bellah, born 1752. According to this Samuel Bellah's Bible registry, however, his daughter Elizabeth was born 1774. So this cannot be my Elizabeth's father. Thanks!

Hi I know its been a long time since you answered the question about Glover Bellah, but I just found it. He is my grandfather and I am also confussed. I have always thought his name was Glove B. and I asked my Mom and she said it was B. but didn't know what the B was for so I got out our Bellah genealogy book that he had researched and printed in the 60's and his name in there is Floyd. Going to ask my Mom if she knows anything more about it. Please contarct me on my email and I'll see what I can find out.

tom, this is tiffany sorry i havent gotten back to u in a few yrs.i had personal problems and had to put this on hold.idid find out a few things.She was buried at the Coleman Cemetery Pavillion and before death livedat Coleman County Medical Center. mygrandmothers name was:ollie mae"jackie" bellah (Knight) born june 7,1928 died jan.13,2001.her survivng children are:Teresa Meadows,Sandy Stephens,(both of Coleman ounty,Patricia Bellah(of California),Dail Ray Bellah(cranes Nixa Clever,MO, and Floyd Bellah(0f Fortssmith,Arkansas. My name is Tamra J Douglas. My Grandfather was Joseph Lee Douglas. My Grandfather's Grandmother was Julia Bellah (1859). My Great Aunt (Grandfather's sister, Dorothy Weiss) wrote that Lovick Pierce Bellah wrote the "Bellah Family History".
I'm trying to get an accurate, and complete, lineage from my Great Great Grandmother as far back as I can. My Aunt Dorothy mentioned family as far back as the Grandson of Margaret Stewart, daughter of King Robert II of Scotland, and John McDonald Lord of the Isles. There is quite a gap between these times.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In the 1910 US census with his family, he is given the name Floyd B Bellah. In all my literature it is Glover Floyd Bellah. In the 1930 census it is Grover B Bellah. I was wondering about information or pictures on them. Ola Moss Rodgers, the daughter of James Rodgers and Serena Larissa Crow Rodgers of Rusk County Texas, passed in 1986. There is a bio on the family in the online Rusk County genealogy site. Do you happen to know Grover's Middle Name, was it B or F as in Floyd? I Would like to exchange information.

I also have the LPB book. The book has been included in another register "The BELLAH/BELLER Family Register Revisited" by Angelia L. Hayes. I believe they have moved to Hawaii. Beth, I did not know it was OK either, but it has been done 2 times that I know of from the original. I no longer even know where there might be an original.
My Aunt loaned her copy to G.B. BELLAH of Lewisville, Texas and never got it back. I think this was the father of Debbie Drake(Velda Louise BELLAH). Have you been to the family web site?
