I too am a Bellar. My g-g-grandfather was Andrew Jefferson Bellar [1830-1906] born in Virginia accoeding to cenus records. He married 1st Catherine Layton [1830-1883] in 1849 at Pike county, Ohio where he lived most all of his adult life. 2nd he married Mary E. Hoskins Troutman [1845-1913] in 1885 Pike county, Ohio too. Andrew haad a sister, harrietta, living with him in Pike county in 1860 cenus, she was born in 1837, Va. I think he had a brother who also lived in Pike co., his name is Calvin. Calvin married Elizabeth Startcher. I know that Andrew had 11 children and I have found most of them. What I need is to find his mother and father and the rest of his family. As I have alot on the Virginia Bellers and hope to link him to someone there. I will appreciate all help, or just to talk to any other Bellar/ers. Hope to hear from someone very soon. thanks , Lyn
