My G-Grandfather was James Bellar who married Lona (lonie) (Allonia) who had several children. One was my g-father Herman who married Azalee Choate from Dickson, tn. I am having a hard time tracing James back any further than Ada, Ok which I found online. I have some documents that say he was part Cherokee? perhaps
