I am looking for info on Israel Bellavance b- Oct 15,1856 in Quebec,Canada. His father is Jean Bellavance b- 1826 in St Henri. His mother is Sophia Giroux.
The three children are Israel, Archille, and Odile (Rose)
Israel Bellavance lived in N.H. I do not know his wife's name. They had three children: Joseph Arthur born in N.H.
Clair born in Canada, and Emma. I think she was born in N.Y.

I' am 20 years old, and I' am looking for any information anyone can give me about my family history, I was told about 3 years ago, that all the Bellavances are related, and if that may be true, I would love to meet some of them. well my great grandparents names are...

-Ernest Earl Bellavance I - Ocotber 28, 1927-August 31, 1984
-Claire Lunia LeRoux - September 12, 1927-August 27, 1980

those are my great grandparents they are deceased now, and then my grandfather is

Thank you so much for this interesting information. It certainly adds to what I know.

In the collection of material I have been given, there are a number of funeral cards. It appears Regina Bellavance Bernier died shortly after the birth of her fourth child. (William, Claire, Lawrence and Etiennette (Ann). There is a funeral card for Joseph which indicates his wife at the time of his death was Delima Vallee.

Also among this material are studio portraits of the young Joseph and Regina, plus a studio portrait of Joseph and six young women, possibly his sisters.

I am hopeful that I will find present-day researchers who would like to have this material in their collection. All I ask is reimbursement for postage costs. If I do not find such a researcher, I will probably send at least the photos and funeral cards to a Nashua Historical Society.

Again, thank you for adding to my knowledge.

REGINA BELLAVANCE, SPOUSE OF JOSEPH BERNIER

I have been given a box of items belonging to a deceased woman whose mother, I believe, was Regina Bellavance and whose father was Joseph E. Bernier. This lady, Etiennette Bernier was born in Nashua, New Hampshire on September 21, 1918. Based on information on a funeral card found in this box, it appears her mother, Regina, died on September 23, 1918 (age 32) in Nashua. Her father, Joseph apparently remarried Delima Vallee. (These cards are in French and I am guessing that she was a second wife). He died on July 7, 1929 at age 40 years.

Other funeral cards include one for Guillaume Bernier (died 14 June 1916 age 68) and Desnaiges Bellavance, spouse of Guillaume who died 13 September, 1928 (age 69).

On the 1920 census Etiennette is shown as the youngest of 4 children, with a sister Claire, brothers William and Laurent. There may have been other children from a second marriage.

Etiennette came to California. At some point she began calling herself "Ann." She married Ulric Bean and is listed in the California Death Index as Ann Bean.

I am seeking a researcher who connects with this Bernier/Bellavance line so I can pass this box on to them. There are many pictures of ancestors, as well as pictures taken during her life here in California.

My grandfather's name was Romeo Bellavance. He married Phylis and had 2 children, Suellen and Greg, and lived in Augusta. He died around 50 I think from a heart attack. I could get more info if you need it.

Need all help I can get on finding info on Israel Bellavance. He was born in San Antone, Quebec, Canada. That is the way it is spelled on his death certificate. Aunt Lillian ??? Ionly met her a couple of times when I was very small sorry I really do not have any information on her.

Eugene T Bellavance died in 1970, his wife was Julie Savage b 1903-d 1973. They are both buried in the All Hallows Cemetary in Moosup, CT.

My grandmother, Blanche Bellavance Sadoway, was born, I believe 1906 & died March 17, 1986 - She was married to Joe Sadoway. My mother is Marjorie Sadoway Lefebvre.
