I am researching Bellows in Washington Co, OH. James Bellows b. abt 1755(possibly Long Island NY) brought his family to Washington Co around 1800. His wife is reported to be Mary Soote or Betsey (?), and his children: James, Elias, William, Benjamin, Samuel, and Anna. They settled in Belpre Twp.James m. Anna Culver, Elias m. (1)Martha Ellenwood (2)Clorinda Poe, Anna m. Wm. Humphrey, William m. Hannah Culver, Benjamin m. Elizabeth Littleton, and Samuel m. Ruth Bason. Some of the children went on to Meigs Co.,OH.
