All I know is that they were born in Hungary. The Belya's I believe were from Karad, Abod and Sarospatak. The other one's I haven't been able to determine that yet

They were all from Hungary. The Bacskay surname somewhere in a small village near Budapest is all I have. The Zsiros surname, Sabochmega?/Suhochmega? Hungary not sure of that one. Belo surname on death certificate it just states Hungary. Belya surname, only know that they were born in Hungary (great great grandparents and great grandparents) great aunt from Abod, Borsod County, Hungary. Grandmother from Karad, Hungary and grandfather from Abod, Hungary.

Hello,
was wondering if any of this rang a bell with someone:

Susan Bacskay dob Jan 7, 1874 in Hungary married Ferencne Zsiros dob 1870? in Hungary. They had two boys Alexander dob Nov 14, 1906 and Louis Mar 14 1900 both born in Sweetwater, Wyoming. When Ferencne died Susan married Charles Belo who later adopted the two boys and they became Alex and Louis Belo. Charles and Susan then had two children, James Belo dob 1910 who later commited suicide on Mar 29, 1929 and Lena (Caroline) Belo. Lena supposedly had a baby that died at 2 months old. I also have Lena as Caroline Richards.

What I am looking for is information on Caroline/Lena Belo/Richards. I have nothing on her. Any help would be greatly appreciated

In my ggrandmothers scrap cook, I found a picture saying DEATH OF ALFRED BELO.
She was from texas. I have no idea why she saved the picture, not part of our family.

Grace M. Belo, 72, of Milliken died Dec. 23, 2004, at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.
She was born April 16, 1932, in Kersey, Colo., to Cervando Lomeli and Lasara Rodriguez. She married Adolph Belo on June 27, 1951, in Greeley.
She attended Big Bend school in La Salle. She enjoyed sports and watching the Broncos. She loved city league baseball and softball. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren and supported her son, John, in high school during sports seasons.
Mrs. Belo was a very loving person who was a great mother, grandmother and friend. She was always supportive of her children and grandchildren, who participated in sports, and she went to all their games. Over the years she missed maybe five games. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by son John Belo Sr. and wife Brenda of Loveland; daughter Delores Belo of Milliken; brother Jess Lomeli of Yuma, Ariz.; sisters Marcella Ramirez and husband Manuel of Denver and Tomi Lomeli and husband Fred of Greeley; five grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Recitation of the rosary will be 7 p.m. today at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Sorry it took so long to respond. I do not always check on my postings. I probably should. Okay, here goes. Susan Bacskay born Jan. 7, 1874(1877)in Hungary, died Mar. 11, 1951 in Springfield, Ill. Married Ferencne Zsiros, they had 2 sons Alex and Louis born in Wyoming. Ferencne died and she married Charles Belo who later adopted the 2 boys and they took on his last name. Hi,
This is what I have on the above surname.
Susan B. Bacskay married to Ferencne Zsiros. Had two children by him, Louis and Alexander. She then married Charles Belo, who adopted the two boys. From her second marriage she had a son named James and a daughter named Caroline. Her first husband died in Sweetwater, Wymoning and her second husband died in Springfield, Illinois. If any of this rings a bell with you let me know.

Yes I think I am part of that family and would like to learn more about them. But to be sure Alex and peg had 3 boys correct? If so then I am alex and pegs grandchild one of there sons is my dad. Thankyou for any help you can give me or I you.

Dear D. Bacskay,
My mother is Mary E. Bacskay Lallathin. She married Earl F. Lallathin Jr. She had two older brothers. Her brother Joe died a few years ago. His widow, Adalade Magdaline Matilda (sorry but I cannot remember at this time her madden and first married names.)("Madge" to us, "Add" to her family) is still living in the Cleveland Ohio area. Her brother Alex, and his wife Peg (Margaret, I believe) is living around Lake Erie in Ohio. I'm not sure if this is the same family or not but I know that they came from Hungary. I believe that her father, Alexander Bacskay came to America at around the age of 3 years. He was born February 4 1894, in Pest Hungary, and died May 10 1961, in Newark Ohio. Her mother, Mary E. Gergye came to America at the age of 13 years. She was born March 7 1900, and died March 1 1955 in Newark Ohio. I know that I have more information around here. I just need to find the time to look it up. If you think that this could be part of your family let me know and I will take the time to look it up for you. I lost a lot of my genealogy program a few months ago when my computer died. I did keep everything on hard copy though. I hope that this helps.
