If you are researching the Beloin surname you should definetely try the Blouin surname as well. Other variations of the spelling also (Bellouin etc.). Most of the history or geneaology in Quebec is placed under the Blouin name. I am from western Canada. My grandfather came there from Coaticook, Que in the 1920-30's. He called himself Blouin but his birth certificate is Beloin. His brothers and some of my cousins are Beloin's. My father is a Blouin. The names were interchangeable.
Hope this helps!
