Trefflé (Samuel) Beloin, born 06 May 1869 at Coaticook, QC, son of Narcisse Beloin and Ernestine Dupuis. He was only 9 when his mother died. He died in Dixville on 29 Aug. 1945 at the age of 76.
In his early 20's (abt 1880'sa), he went to work in a saw mill in Beecher Falls, VT. The author of a book on the Beloin family speculates that is where he met his bride-to-be. He married Eleonore Racicot, daughter of Joseph Racicot and Lucie Daignault around 1896, most likely in the Beecher Falls area. The marriage record has not been located. He eventually returned to Quebec - those records have been found. But his time spent in the US is undocumented at this point.
The first 5 of his children - Mamie Beloin(1897) Aime(1899), Wellie (1901), Samuel (1903) and Alexina (1906) were born in Stewartstown, NH. Samuel died 12 June 1920 at age 16, but not sure if he died in NH or back in QC.
