I do not find a tie in for Elizabeth with our Belonga's. Know that a couple of Belonga's married into the Martineau family. Will also check with a fellow researcher of Paul to see if she has run into the name. Glad to share.

I am searching for information on my great great grandmother and her parents, etc... Her name was Elizabeth Bertha Belonga. She was born 9 April, 1876 in Michigan. Most likely in the city of Vassar in Tuscola County. She died 6 June 1958 in Los Angeles, California. Her mother's maiden name was Martineau. The only information that I have is this and of her four children. The time line seems to match yours. Possibly there is a family connection. Please let me know if you have her or any information on her in your family tree.

Paul Belonga

We are searching for information on Paul Belonga who lived on Mackinaw Island in the mid 1800's. We know that he was still alive in 1892 as he sold property that he owned. Can not locate his death. Also need his parents and proof. His son Charles married Eliza Mint(c)ier on Mackinaw Island. They then moved to Frankfort, Benzie Co., MI where he drowned in 1885.
