James Belton
Does anyone know the parents of James Belton? He was born about 1810 in North Carolina. He seems to have wandered around through many states like North Carolina, Pennslyvania, Ohio, Indiana, Missouri, and Illinois. He was married to a woman named Sarah and later to a woman Lethia. From one site I read he may have been in a mob that killed Joseph Smith. I just can't seem to get any farther back.
