I was born in Charles City, Iowa which is about 7 miles away from Nashua & raised as a child, in the area. I have not looked at the records. My G Grandmother Frances Bement lived until 1920, (born 1845) but because she is a married woman, is buried in Lynwood Cemetery, Clarksville, Iowa as Frances Darby - so you would not see her when looking up Bement's. Her maiden name was Frances Elizabeth Bement. Her mother Sarah Darling Bement died in Clarksville also, but we have not located her tombstone. You would see her on the 1880 census of Jackson Twp, Butler Co, Iowa, living with Frances & husband Thomas Darby.
Frances sister Sarah Bement Ford also died in Clarksville, is buried with her husband Charles Ford & his mother, in Lynnwood. Frances brothers', Edward Bement, married Elizabeth Miller from Minneapolis & is buried at the Oakland Cemetery in St. Paul, & her other brother "Willie", moved to Rockford Illinois for his job with the RR after his wife's death in Jesup, Iowa, but he is buried next to his wife, Mae Levona Miller, in Jesup's Cedar Crest Cemetery.
