I am looking for any descendants from the Meakins Bemont line.He changed the name from Bement and is burried under the Bemont name.Most of his children changed thier last name to Beaumont.My mother's line stayed Bemont.Meakins grandson Leonard was married three times and had by his first marriage(with Mary Ware East Hartford ,CT)he had Oliver Bemont and Mary J Bemont.His second marriage(with Lucinda Bancroft) he had at least one child but I do not know the name.His third marriage(with Saphronia Wyman) he had my Great Grandfather LeRoy Bemont.Would love to hear from any descendnts.View my genealogy at http://stoneyfield.hypermart.net
