What a surprise. I bought the Erskine and Lucy (Fisher) Bemis House in Urbana located at 131 East Reynolds Street. The house was built in the mid 1870s by Erskine. Was he a carpenter by chance? I would love to know more about the family. Anything or contacts would be great especially for Erskine's line, and more about the family when they all lived together. I believe Erskine and his family are buried and ended up in Sidney, Shelby County, Ohio, just next door to us in Champaign County. Thanks John Bry
