About 5 years ago I corresponded with a Frank Bence whose ancestor was Patrick Henry Bence, from the area of Indiana Co. PA. When I visited you website, I wondered if he could have been the estranged brother you mentioned. Frank seemed to think Patrick Henry had been orphaned.
