I'm Sheralyn Belyeu of Alabama. My husband's mother was descended from James B Carl, who was born in either Canada or England before the Civil War. His daughter Laura A Carl married John Bence here in 1899 and I'm trying to identify their children. From the US Census records, the children's names were: Charles, Mona, Andy, Clemon Bloomer, Homer, Ora, and Cora. Is Homer the same as the Robert Homer Bence whose burial is recorded at
