James Bender, 83, of Keapana died 11 Mar 2009 at Wilcox Mem Hosp. Born 2 May 1925 in Kealia, he was a building and maintenance supervisor for the State of Hawai'i. Preceded in death by parents Veris & Julia Bender, brothers Darcloud, Clarence and Lawrence; sisters Beatrice Bender and Bertha Kealalio.
