I may be able to help you "plug some gaps" depending on what you need. Contact me via email at gat5804@aol.com with your questions and I will see what I can do. I have been burned too many times in the past with people "just wanting to know something" and the next thing I know they plaster it all over the internet as if it is their own research. I have written a book that I have been working on for 15 years or better concerning the Benenhaley family. In addition, I have given several local presentations on their history and interviewed several of the oldest members of the Turk community here in Dalzell, SC. I know what I am talking about and my data and research is correct. Anybody can pull crap out of a census report and post it online as research. I will be very selective with what I release to anybody. Tell me your story and we'll see what we can do.

I'm looking for information concerning Joseph Benenhaley I back down to me. I've seen some online websites. I know other families tie in as well such as the Buckners, Hoods, Rays, Scotts, and Oxendines. I would love to be able to find the missing pieces and fill in the gaps of this family.

What kind of research/history are you doing? There is alot of genealogy posted on the web concerning the early Benenhaleys but some of it is incorrect so check your sources before you accept it as accurate. The "One World Tree" and Ancestry.com information both have some errors and some omissions.
