I am from an Argentine branch of the original Benito family.
My grandparentes were immigrants coming from the city of Valladolid, Castilla La Vieja, Spain.

An ancestor of mine, also called Nicolás Benito, was a kind of secretary for Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra the writer of "Don Quijote de la Mancha" a classic Spanish novel.
