Abijah Bennett claimed to have been taken prisoner by indians and the brits in 1776 and taken to Canada. His father, Daniel, also suffered captivity in Canada but both returned to CT after the war. Abijah subsequently migrated to Rising Sun, IN and died there.

I would be pleased to hear from/about other Bennett descendants who might know where he is buried in that fine city.
