I just saw your inquiry re Betsey Bennett in relationship to Cutting Bennett. He was my gr, gr grandfather. In the 1850 census of Groton, VT, Betsey's listed w/Cutting's family and is 62 yrs old, which makes me wonder if she was his mother as Cutting was 35 at the time.
