Surnames: BENNIE COOK HUNTER
My gg grandfather's death notice (1898) says for American and New Zealand papers to please copy. He was William BENNIE born about 1823 Rujtherglen Glasgow, son of John BENNIE and Jane HUNTER. He married Mary Ann COOK in 1849 in Barony and was the grandfather of "Railplane" George BENNIE.
