My GGGF John Benton bc 1800 NC is connected to Jesse Benton bc 1798 NC ( NOT Senator Benton line) died 1842 Alabama, thru the Benton DNA Project, Group #4. It is possible they are brothers with Job Benton of Montgomery Co., NC as the father (speculation only).Descendants of John & Jesse are having difficulty connecting them with a paper trail.
