I am interested in anyone with the Bentz surname that has some connection with Neudorf, S. Russia, or Dakota connections. This is part of my maternal lineage. We have information back to Johannes Bentz who was born Metterzimmern, Ludwigsburg, W, Germany. His son Johannes (b. 1790 - d 1869) m. Christina Maihoefer. Johannes & Christina had 5 children that I know of - Johannes Jacob (1811), Anna Maria (abt. 1815), Christina (1822), Johann Philipp (1825) and Margaretha (1852 - I question this date). I would like to communicate with anyone having any connections to this family.
