Hello Mariette. I was scanning through the messages here and saw the above names and it made me wonder. I have been told my g-grandmother Julie Gervais is descended from Julie Berard-Lepine [dau of Joseph and Marguerite Berthe (aka Barthe Marguerite Belleville)]. Julie Berard m. Jean-Baptiste Boucher dit Barbel in Berthier-en-haut, Quebec on 2/10/1823. Is there any chance that the Berard Labine you mentioned have some connection to these Berard-Lepine? If so I would much appreciate any additional information you might have on the ancestry or lives of these ancestors.
