Peter Bergens death was registered in Manitoba, although it shows his death date as 17 September not the 18th. If you haven't requested a copy of his death registration yet (for a $12 fee), I'd do that if I were you. Most death registrations show the names of the parents of the deceased. Maria's death doesn't seem to be registered, which is too bad. Also, I'm sure that you know that the 1880 Village Census of the Mennonite West Reserve has a fine picture of Pete and his son, Wilhelm
