Juergen Christoph Bergmann/Anna Maria Meier - Lunebourg 1800

Seeking ancestors/descendants of Juergen Christoph Bergmann and Anna Maria Meier. Their son Wilhelm was born in 1829 and married Katherina Dagefoerde. They also had two daughters; Anna Magelena who married a Warnecke and Maria who married a Klipp.

All three families ended up in America. Wilhelm and Katherina lived in Barre Mills, LaCrosse County, and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Warnecke descendants were in Maywood Village, Cook County, Illinois in 1920 and 1930. Klipp grandchildren (Bertha Gorke) lived in Oak Park Village in 1930.

Illinois and Missouri Bergmann Family

I am just starting to research the Bergmann family and like many others don't have a whole lot to go on. What I know to be so far is starting with Jerry George Bergmann b. Feb 1934 d.July 2003. He was born in Illinois and died in Missouri. I am pretty sure his parents are George Walter b.Aug 1909 d. Oct 1967. He also was born in Illinois and died in Missouri. I believe George had a brother named Elmer who lived in Vancouver Wa. whom I visited just once in 1980 in Vancouver. George married Cecelia Sophia Schmidt. I do not know her birth date but believe her death to have been in 1968 in Springfield Missouri. I believe that George's parents are George J b. about 1880 in Illinois and Mary L Horell born about 1878 in Illinois. Wow maybe I do have more info than I thought but still search to find more. I have searched the boards and do not seem to connect with the many families listed so any help would be most appreciated. Thanks, Linda

Hello! I'm trying to find some information about either of these individuals. I have a marriage certificate, posting in Monroe County, Illinois in 1862. Both of them were born overseas, probably in Prussia, and immigrated at some point probably in the 1850s? Does anyone have information on either of these individuals?

Their daughter, Mary C. (Bergmann) Weilbacher was my great-great grandmother and is buried in St. Louis, Illinois. This much I know!

Helena Garadena "Dena" Johnson (b: Jan 14, 1856) married Henry (Hienrich maybe) Bergman(n)(d:abt 1919 according to Dena's obituary) Nov 15, 1878 in Germany then 4 years later traveled to the United States to Missouri then Illinois. Traveled to the United States abt 1882.

If anyone knows where I can look to get help with locating more siblings or getting records to verify this information is correct, please let me know. Any information will be GREATLY appreciated.

Herman Got Married to Ellen McCarthy in 1884 stepney. and had two children Herman Bergman born in 1887 and Mary bergman born in 1897-1992.

I'm trying to find out some information about my great great grandfather. He was Herman Bergman and was born in Heligoland Isle of bight Germany ( as far as i know)
I think he was born about 1865.
He was a merchant navy member and i think he was the fuelman. He Married Ellen McCarthy in stepney in 1887, and had two known children.
Herman Bergman (who was known as harry) who married a lady called rose and had three daughters.
And a daughter called Mary (my great grandma) who was born the 5th may 1897 in london and died in 1992 in tolworth.

Any more information about these people would be greatly appreciated.

I am seeking descendants of Conrad Mauritius Bergman and his wife, Anna Barbara, of Steinbach, Germany. I descend from their son, Johann Caspar Bergmann (b: 1715)and his wife, Elizabeth Hundeshagen. Caspar and Elizabeth had a large family and I am hoping someone may descend from one of their other children. I have no idea whether any of these descendants may have emigrated to America however, when a cousin of mine visited Steinbach in the 1980's, no Bergmanns were found in Steinbach.

Gustav Bergmann was born in 1858 in Germany. He married Henrietta Prill in that country and then immigrated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1882. Gustav and Henrietta had two sons: Edward (1883-1950) and Otto (1887-1931). Gustav died in 1935, and Henrietta died in 1943.

Gustav was survived by two sisters, at least one of whom immigrated to the United States. One sister's daughter was nicknamed Gussie, and she married a Buchta.

I am interested in information on Gustav's family and would be happy to share my information about his descendants.

Hello!

I am looking for some long lost relatives. My ggggreat-grandfather Heinrich Friedrich Schulz had a daughter named Helena, who married a man named Peter Bergmann. They all lived in Molotschna, Russia.

When the rest of the clan left for North America, the Bergmanns stayed in Russia. Later, in 1925, Helena’s son Franz and his family left Russia for Mexico, and in 1928 left Mexico for Canada. The children’s names were George, Peter, Agnes, and Jacob. That is the full extent of what is known about the Franz Bergmanns.

Another son of Helena, David, married and had four children, Jacob, Peter, Helen, and Katie. David died in Russia. His wife remarried a man by the name of Andres and they brought the children to Canada.

This is the full extent of what the family knows about the children of Helena Schultz-Bergmann.

If you can help me find out what happened to my relatives and where they are now, I would greatly appreciate it.

GEORGE A. BERGMANN III, passed away at home in Clear Lake Shores, Texas October 21, 2003 having battled lymphoma cancer since January. George was the first of four children born to George and Mary Bergman on September 19, 1939 in Fort Worth, Texas. He is pre-deceased by his parents and survived by his wife, Paula, brother Roy, sisters Mary Ann and Martha Ellen (Marty), numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and Aunt Margie of Fort Worth. George's entrepreneurial abilities involved him in many varied businesses and real estate projects. He loved creating businesses, traveling, cooking and conversation. Alois Bergmann migrated from the town of Unterwestern in Lower Frankonia Bavaria to Amerika. He married over there a wife of British descent (she was perhaps even born in Britain). Alois had most probably at least one son and two daughters. A photo existed showing him with his son and two daughters. He continued to write to his sister Katharina Bergmann until the 1930s who was married in Schöllkrippen in Lower Frankonia to Gustav Steigerwald. Alois parents were Johann Bergmann (born 24. Does anyone have information on Heinrich (Henry) and Annie Bergman who lived in Belleville, IL during the 1880's and beyond. They had a son named George Bergman (B:1882) who married Anna Rieder. George died in Arkansas in 1961. According to George's Birth Certicate, he was the fourth child.

Henry and Anna were born in Germany around 1847.

Kilian Bergmann was born on March 17, 1799, near Michelbach, Bavaria, Germany. His parents were Konrad Bergmann and Margarethe (nee Besenbacher) Bergmann. He married Klara Wilz on February 25, 1827, in Michelbach, Bavaria. They soon after emigrated to Woodford County, IL, via Pennsylvania.

Kilian died in Woodford County, IL, on September 28, 1867.

Have him in Caddo County, Oklahoma in 1901 where he bought land, married Florence Speaker, unknown when, had two sons, James, born in Chickashaw, Oklahoma in 1906, and Layton, born in 1912 unknown where. I have him back in Albany New York area in 1947.Supposedly died in October 1948 in Albany, NY, Any help appreciated. He is my birth father.

My family search has lead me to a Gottlieb C.Liebig(1-5-1833 til 12-1-1904) married to Fredericka (Bergmann) Liebig(2-15-1832 til 6-11-1922). I am putting my family history to pictures and I am in need of a picture of Gottlieb or their wedding picture. my great grandfather was phillip bergmann of obert neb. he came to this country in 1870 from jachenbach parish eitorff prussia so far i have't been able to locate it on an old world map. phillip had several brothers and sisters and eight children . my grandmother phillipine was the youngest. i have photos of a very large bergmann family in front of their farm taken in obert neb. in 1916. i would be interested in finding out more of their names and tracing them back to prussia which i believe is now germany.i can be reached at smbp93010@yhaoo .com

Most of my BERGMAN family is from Binghamton, NY. The spelling of the last name seems to vary through the family. Richard Myrtle Bergman lived in Binghamton. One of their sons was Percy S. Bergman (died in 1963) who married Mae B. Turk (dob 1900 dod 1946). Percy and Mae are my grandparents. Another of Richard Myrtle's children was Harold Bergman. I'm trying to locate information on a Mary Bergmann who married Charles W. Jackson and lived in Philadelphia. They had a daughter Anna May Jackson ( my grandmother) born October 7, 1884, and several other children, George, Elva and Laura, I believe.
