Hello,
I found out that our original surname of Berggren meant "Mountain Branch" in Swedish but when my Grandfather Johan Gotfrid Berggren changed it to Bergren it changed the meaning to be "Mountain Reindeer"....My Genealogist in Sweden had a laugh on that one...
Just changing one letter of the alphabet can make a change in meaning.
