Looking for any descendants of Morris Berkowitz.All I know is that he and his wife Frieda came through Ellis Island in 1898 from Poland and they settled in New York. My father, Leonard was born in 1905. Other siblings were Ben, Stanley,Helen and Dorothy,all deceased. My dad moved to California in 1959 and had little contact with the family.He, and I believe Stanley, changed their name to Bennett in 1936.
