I can tell you that John's middle name was Adamson and that Mahala's sister was Marie Tilitha Berkshire, but that is about all I have. Marie Tilitha was born about 1781 and married Jessie B. Dicken and they had 13 children. Unfortunately, like yourself, I am also trying to find more on John Adamson Berkshire and his ancestry.
