Hi Rick-
The Berkshires I have in Indiana are the family of Ralph Lazier Berkshire. Ralph settled in Henry County Indiana, in Newcastle. He was there in 1834, when my Berkshire branch passed through on the way to Illinois; one of their daughters left memoirs and mentioned stopping at Uncle Lazier's in Newcastle.
