Ramona/Ramoncita , Luiz and Martina Bernal

I am looking for info on Ramona/Ramoncita Bernal, she is listed on the 1900 census as a servant for Luiz and Martina Bernal (Luis and Marina) in Colorado. Ramona was b. 3/25/1883 in Costilla, NM. I believe she may have been an orphan and took their last name when she went to work for them. If anyone has any info, I'd appreciate it. Thank you!

My step grandfather was Eugene Bernal, wife Donher Smith. I recently went to the Gilbert Historical Museum in Gilbert, Arizona. They had lots of pictures of the Bernal family. You can check out their website at http://www.gilbertmuseum.org/Visit.aspx . I haven't done much research on this line yet.

There is a book written by Jose Ascension and Jose Socorro, last name Velasquez Hernandez Called "Santiaguito de Velazquez- Un Ensayo de Microhistoria-" Not sure if any copies left. I checked and the names index does include an Elias Bernal Torres. Did a quick check in familysearch.com
found 1930 Mexico Census Catarino Bernal 60, Elbira Nabarro, Elias Bernal 22, & Ignacio Bernal 30, listed in 1 household in Arandas, Jal, Mx. Ranch name is "Farfan de Arriba". Also in my book is Catarino among other Bernals. If this is on the right track I may be able to help. Don't know what u r looking 4. My family is from Arandas, paternal and maternal ancestors, and still in touch. A second book is being written, don't know ETA of release.
It may take me some time but don't mind rereading book and jotting down some notes pertaining to your interests or anybody elses. I certainly can provide info pertaing to Aguirre, Velasquez, Villagrana in Arandas. My last name is Segura.
I've been looking for family members of Ray Larry Bernal,my biological father, for a while. He has since passed on, but he has a couple of sisters and a brother. Cindy, Kathy, Renae, Vangie and Susan. And one brother named Danny or Daniel. I think the his siblings had another last name maybe Gallegos. Ray's mothers' name was Lori Gallegos. If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it. When he passed on, he was married to a lady named Diana K. Bernal.

She lived there until moving to Barstow, CA, to help take care of her brother and his family in 1951. She later met and married the love of her life, Lorenzo Bernal. They shared their life together raising their family until he was called by our Heavenly Father in 1994. She continued to devote herself to her family until her work was finished here on earth. She was the angel of our world. Her loving way touched many, setting an example of strength, courage, compassion and charity.
She is survived by her children, Pamela Bernal, Michael and his wife, Rosella; grandchildren, Eileen Flores, Gilbert "Joey" Flores, Rachael Bernal, Jocelyn Bernal, Michael "Jeff" Bernal and his wife, Nancy, Lorraine Bernal, Dayna Blackwood; 17 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Margie Davis, Loyda Fairfield and her husband, Frank, and Cathy Reyes.
