Looking for info on family of Robert Arthur Berndt born Oct 1, 1920 in Texas died March 1972. Father Robert Berndt (born about 1897 in Illinois) and mother Evie Cummins (born about 1898 in Texas). I have no further information on his parents.

All I can find is the 1930 census in Chicago, Cook, IL with Robert and Evie, and children George (b 1919), **Robert Jr**(b 1920), Julia (b 1923), and Richard (b1925). Other information I have gathered is that Evie died August 1937 and Robert Sr was in veterens hospital since 1930. The children were scattered at that point between family and friends in both Texas and Illinois.

Searching for any info on Robert Jr's siblings or further information on his parents. It is entirely possible that the siblings are still living somewhere in Texas area.

Also, looking for information on where Robert Berndt is buried. He died in Houston TX area.
