Seeking the line, siblings, and story of George Berrie, (my 3rd GGFather), who was born in Scotland (legend says near Glasgow) around 1810, emigrated to United States (applied for naturalization 6 Nov 1848, Crawford Co., PA). Record of his marriage has not been found, but he married around 1845-46 to Elizabeth Hay, daughter of John Hay, Sr. and Elizabeth (unknown maiden-name). The children of George and Elizabeth were: Isabella, Elizabeth, Samuel J., John Hay, and Jane; all born near Meadville, Pennsylvania in Union Township, Crawford County.
