Maybe this can help you. My father, Pablo Rafael Berrios Berrios was born in Quebrada Grande in Barranquitas. The Berrios family own most of the land in this place. The family was Berrios Berrios and later other last name came in, like Martinez, etc. My father took me to the place once but most of the old people from the family have moved. Righ now I don't know if there is still any Berrios family.

hello i am trying to find my husbands birth father jose berrios from cayey. he married ernedia ortiz and had two children carmen rose and jose antonio. around 1970 his mother left cayey with the children and went to new york. if you know anything please contact me

FYI:
Rootsweb now prohibits using a - in the search field. Boards that are created for a hyphenated name use a concatonated name or
a space for the - or a 20 in place of the - so...
The only way to assuridly search for the board is to use the first half of the name in the search field, without the -, then scan the results for the desired hyphenated name.

I know a Candido Berrios who does not fit your description. He was born in 1927, I believe, and has lived in Falmouth, MA, Barranquitas, PR, and Pompano Beach, FL, that I know of. However, I thought I would share this with you just in case. Good luck!

Interesting... My mother's maiden name was Elsie Berrios, her sister is Amparo Berrios, their mother was Justa Berrios (not sure of first name spelling). They are all from Guayama, PR and also have family in Arroyo, PR. Not sure of my great-grandfathers first name, but he was married to Leonor Ramos Berrios.

I am doing a favor for a friend who is looking for her uncle. Jose Eduardo Berrios is her Mother's half brother. She recently found other siblings she was separated from in the 1960's. Greetings, I don't have any information on the Berrios Berdecia family from Helechal. I know the public school there was named after Tomas Berrios Berdecia. On my family branch I don't see any Berdecia's but please check my family site at http://oldprnair.tripod.com regarding some of my relatives from Helechal.

My great great grandfather was Juan Nepomuceno Colon and my Great grandmother was Antonia Berrios Berdecia. Both from Barranquitas (Honduras, Helechar, La loma). I love to hear if you have any info on the Berrios Berdecia FAMILY.

Ok... I am not sure we are on the same page here, but I am looking for Zambrana people as well. My mother and grandmother are originally from Indiana, but moved to Florida and are Colvins. My father is a Zambrana who never married my mother. My father had another child by another woman, I think the girls name is Maria, also in Florida I think. Are we connected in any way?

Well I am looking to find alot... My dad's side of the family.. The Berrios's.. His name is Eric Berrios. His Fathers name is Rafael Berrios. My dad's mothers name is Lydia Zambrana. I want to know more about this family. My father and grandfather live in Indiana. My grandmother is in Florida. I also have 2 brothers and a sister that I never met... I think in Florida also. 1) Where is the webpage? Is it open for anyone to view? I am searching for information about the Berrios family.
2) My husband's grandmother is Juana Maria Berrios. Her parents were Juan Berrios and Inocensia Marrero. Inocensia died a few weeks after Juana was born in 1919. I am searching for information about Juan, Inocensia, and their ancestors.
3)Juana had five children, one of whom we are also seeking. Her name was Maria Milagros Morales, and she was born 26 Apr 1945. We believe she married Mr. Oca.

Juana Maria Berrios Zayas was my 1st cousin twice removed. More simply, Juana's mother was my great-grandmother's sister. This relationship made my grandfather, Juana's cousin.

Two weeks ago, I met one of Juana's nephew (son of Juan Berrios Zayas) at a Zaya's wedding that took place in Pozas, Ciales.

Coincidence? I don't think so.
