I am looking for ANY information on the following people.
Marie Mikkelsdatter born about 1839. In an 1880 census record in Kolding Kobstad she is listed as being 40 years old, with her three sons - Nicolaus, age 13, Lauritz, age 13, AND UNNAMED BOY 1 year old.
In a baptism record one year later unnamed boy is Bertel Peter Jurgens. Mother is listed as a widow, not being married to his father, and father was listed as businessman Ole Sorenson.
IF ANYONE CAN SHED SOME LIGHT ON THIS PLEASE PLEASE DO.
Is Mikkelsdatter Marie's maiden name? Does Bertel Peter have the same father as Nicolaus and Lauritz? If Ole Sorenson is Bertel's father then why does he have the last name Jurgens?
