Looking for information on Robert Bertine, b. ca. 2/8/1803 in NYC or Westchester. Married Mary C. Barnes. Lived in Smithfield/Amenia, Dutchess County, NY. d. 12/16/1876, buried in Amenia. Children were Ann Eliza (m. J. Sackett Alling), Josephine (m. John Hammond), Gertrude (m. Guernsey Sackett, Mary (m. John R. Thompson), and one son, Robert D. One of the Roberts had a general store in Shekomeko, NY. Robert D. apparently moved to Binghamton, NY in late 1800's. Am looking for any information on ancestors or descendants. The Bertines were of Huguenout ancestry, with the family probably living in NYC or New Rochelle
