I am soooo confused! Trying to piece together info from Schutte records published in Genealogy Quarterly and other researcher records

Am I mixing up the REX family?

Maybe someone can tell me if there are errors in her research? or am I not following this right?

For example:
Georg Adam REX - there are two of them.
Georg Adam REX b. 17 Jun 1750 son of George Jacob and Anna YATES married first to Maria Spengler and second to Christine Weaver
and his uncle George Adam REX b. 11 Jan 1766 son of Bernard Jacob and Anna Orner who married Barbara Unknown.

Also confusing is:
Johann Wilhelm REX b. 24 Sep 1781 d.30 mar 1856 married Maria Magdelena UNKNWOWN son of Wilhelm REX b 12 feb 1756 and Margaretha UNKNOWN.
who is mixed up with another Johann George REX b 24 Jun 1781 who was the son of Wilhelm REX and Elisabeth Handwerk and was married to Maria Magdelena HUNSICKER

Can anyone straighten this out?
