My grandmother was Lillie (Lillian, Lilly) Berwick. She was adamant that her mother (Mary Rau? - who was married to Frank Berwick) was a native American Indian. In addition, she said she was of Sioux heritage. I found this very strange at the time because Sioux are from the Mid-West and my family and the Berwicks were all around Mauch Chunk, Penn.

My dear grandmother has since passed on, along with all my relatives who carried that information with them.

I am hoping someone on here has any information about the Berwicks they would like to share, Frank or father Martin, etc.
