We live in Sydney, Australia and a year ago I was contacted by a Graeme Berwick whose family came from the north of England and immigrated to N.S.W. We did spend the day with him but had no connection.

Are you interested in the Berwicks who immigrated to Australia or just any old Berwicks.

Hope to hear from you.

Wendy

I am seeking further information regarding my Berwick line. George Charles Berwick was born c.1843 in St Pancras London and married Mary (b. 1843 Gloucester). They had six children: Walter William Berwick (b. 1877), Louisa Berwick (b. 1872), John Berwick (b. 1885), George Berwick (b. 1865) Charles Berwick (b. 1870) and Henry Berwick (b. 1874), all from various districts of London. Walter W Berwick, my great-grandfather, married Emily Newmarch and had four children: George Charles Berwick (b. 1908) - my grandfather, John Berwick, Dorothy Berwick and Emily Berwick. If anyone thinks they can link up with this information, please let me know.

When we moved to Arizona Emma stayed in California where she passed away in 1974. I would like to have a copy of the picture you have. If you have any other information you would share I would like to have that too. I know very little about the Berwick side of the family.

Hello:Hello:
Saw your message on Ancestry re Alma Trinkwon. My father, George Frederick Burlton, born, 1895, Birmingham, England and came over to Canada in 1906. He enlisted in WW1 at Orillia, Ontario. I now have all his war records and it states on his records that his pay was being sent to an ALMA TRINKWON of Orillia, Ontario. He lists her on his records as a friend.
Someone just sent me the 1911 Ontario Census for the Town of Orillia.
Frank Trinkwon - B - 1871 November - 41 Head England
Annie Trinkwon - B. 1871 January - 40 Ontario - Wife
Alma Trinkwon - B. 1899 June 12 - Ontario Daughter
I have always wondered what the connection between my father and Alma was as he had never spoke of her. He was wounded severely in the war and when he returned to Canada he spent many years in the hospital recovering.
Please let me know your views on this and if you think this is the same Alma as in your message.
Best regards
Isobel Burlton-Wells

n.b. There are also 2 Trinkwon soldiers who were in WW1 Canadian Expeditionary Forces
Percy John Trinkwon, from Orillia, Ontario dob March 16, t900
list father at Thom? thomas nok
iwells@kingston.net
turbocharmed@gmail.com
BERWICK

I am just returning to my family history research after a long absence. I would like to construct a family tree for BERWICK.

It is my ultimate aim to have a worldwide family tree for all people of the BERWICK name. I would appreciate any family tree information from anyone in the world who shares this same name within their families as I hope to make connections with them all.

The only information I have to go on is that a John Berwick married Charlotte Rogers and their child Mary Berwick was born in 1823. Mary married Thomas Leonard in 1842 and their child Mary Leonard lived from 1849 - 1934. These ancestors of mine lived in New South Wales, Australia.

If anyone wishes to send me information, either a Gedcom or a file attached to an email would be very welcome. I would be quite happy to send anyone who requests it all the information I have in return. I run Legacy 6 as a genealogy programme on my computer.

Thanks for your assistance, everyone. .
Louisa Mosher, sired 7 children-William,Herbert,Rosena, Geaorge,Henry, Mary, and Zadock. Charles was last referred to as being in Stanstead in 1872. I have nothing more on him and need to find somewhere after that date. Thanks
Paul Berwick
