I am looking for information on the Betz branch of my family tree. My grandfather, Joseph Betz was one of the firat of this line to be born in the U.S. His mother and father and his oldest brother, John, came from Germany in 1867 and settled first in NY state. The family moved to Danbury, CT in the early 1880's. John married and had a son also named John who was born in Danbury in 1892 and died there in 1956.
