Hi,

Sorry this is 5 years late!

My branch followed on from Colton, Halton, Lancaster, Nibthwaite, backbarrow, Ulverston, to Liverpool and then Manchester.

My line follows on from William m1842, John/Sarah Burke, John's son George b1872 was my grandfather he m Annie Bryce.

The family are still around Manchester but I am in NZ.

I visited the forge in Nibthwaite many years ago.

I am trying to find out where the famil came from when they appeared in Colton Lancs in 1717. Some of the gravestones in Colton are Bivens.

E-mail me and we can work together.

Alan Bryce Bevins
