Hi Donna--and thanks. I don't know much--and what I think I know could be wrong---I have an old army document that lists my dad's parents as Henry Fonda Bevins and Eleanor Mae Bevins---he was born in 1903--so this was way before the days of Henry Fonda the actor---altho it does seem like a strange name---there is a town called Fonda, NY---I know very little about it---supposedly my dad and his twin brother, Mike were orphaned along with their sister Freda---they were placed in an orphanage, St. Mary's--in upstate New York---again, supposedly, my uncle and aunt were adopted; my dad was not---the brother's name was Michael Bevins; the aunt's name was Freda--she later married Frank Agnew and they lived in Troy, NY---that's basically all I know about my line---it's not very much---but, I'd appreciate anything you may come up with---thanks again---don't know if I gave my e-mail or not--but it's bwatson150@yahoo.com---
