AUGUSTINO (GUSTI) BIACCI
Augusto (Gusti) Biacci, 419 Lower street, Pardeesville, died this morning at his home.
He was a member of St. Nazarius Church, Pardeesville, and of the GBA Hunting Club at Honey Hole.
Up to the time of Hurricane Diane in August 1955, he was employed as a miner at Hazleton Shaft mine. Prior to that, he had been employed by Pardee Brothers at Lattimer Mines.
Born in Grignaleta, Italy, he saw service with the U. S. Army in World War I.
Surviving is his wife, the former Felica (Frances) Laberta, and the following children: Mary, wife of Ned Martino, Bridgeport, Conn.; Nicholas, U.S. Army, Georgia; Augustus Jr., Nuremberg; Josephine, wife of Philip Bellinghausen, Hazleton; Anna Marie, wife of Lester Kelley, Easton, and Bernard, Anthony and Philip at home.
The funeral will be held Thursday, 8:45 a.m., from the Joseph and Mary Fierro funeral home, with solemn mass of requiem at St. Nararius Church at 9:30 a.m. Military rites will be conducted. Interment will be in Most Precious Blood cemetery.
Friends may call Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m.
