Laura, I hope you get this. I think Adolph Biber was my Gr-Gr-grandfather because:
1) Both he and my Gr-grand-father were jewelers and watchmakers.
2) Adoph was in San Francisco in 1871 and lived on Clara St.
3) My gr-grandfather, Arthur W. Biber,was born in Nov. 1869 in SF and lived at 173 Clara St, per a letter
written one month after his birth. the letter was in German. I have the original of that letter.
4) Arthur later moved to Long Branch, NJ, but I do not yet know the dates.
