Looking for any info on Pearl V Biby, b 4 Sep 1902, d. Jun 1980. She m. John Henry Roberts had 8 children & then later m. George H Christ. I believe her parents to be John W.(b.abt 1860, Iowa) & Mollie Biby. John W's parent could be Micajah (b. abt 1810 NC) & Mary Fare Biby or Byby. Any info on Pearl's ancestors would be greatly appreciated.

Edward Allen Biby was born on Aug. 7, 1885 in Galatia (Saline Co.), IL. As of 1928, he lived in Encinitas (San Diego Co.), CA. On Nov. 12, 1928, he joined the Sons of the American Revolution, on behalf of the service of his Revolutionary War ancestor, Lewis Corder.

He died on Oct. 3, 1952 in Ventura Co., CA.

I am seeking a copy of his obituary.

James Howard Biby was born on Jul. 24, 1890 in Herington (Dickinson Co.), KS. As of 1928, he lived in Los Angeles, CA. On Jul. 25, 1928, he joined the Sons of the American Revolution, on behalf of the service of his Revolutionary War ancestor, Lewis Corder.

He is reported to have died on May 25, 1960.

I am seeking his death place and obituary.

Charles Elbert Biby was born on Nov. 17, 1877 in Crab Orchard (Williamson Co.), IL. As of 1928, he lived in Pinckneyville (Perry Co.), IL. On Jan. 12, 1928, he lived in Leavenworth, KS. On May 23, 1927, he joined the Sons of the American Revolution, on behalf of the service of his Revolutionary War ancestor, William Reynolds.

Charles Biby is reported to have died on Nov. 29, 1948.

I am seeking his death place and obituary.

Biby/Bybee marries Penrod

I am desperately seeking Oadie Biby, she was married to Joseph Penrod. They were living in Horton County, Kansas in 1907 where my grandmother Ruby Mae Penrod was born. I cannot find any information on who Oadie and her family were. Please HELP!!! Anything would be appreciated, even a point in the right direction.

I think you should try researcing the Bybee family in Barren Co. KY. I have much research on that line and the references you have made make me believe that is your best place to go.
This family originated in Goochland Co. VA and migrated to Fluvanna VA, and on to Barren Co. KY. John Bybee had a son Lee Allen Bybee b/ 1780 d/ 1852. Married Jerusha Atkinson. I do not find reference to the Patterson name. I also see the Bibby name on the 1880 census but not the same county that you mentioned, but from AL. I do not find a reference to Patterson, in this line, but that does not say they weren't a part.

JAMES L. "JIM" BIBY James L. "Jim" Biby of Mulkeytown, Illinois, passed away Sunday morning, January 9, 2005 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado. He was born April 5, 1928 in Royalton, Illinois to Guy and Audella (Eisenhauer) Biby. On March 11, 1950, he married Norma Jean Hertel in Mulkeytown, where he spent most of his adult life. He is survived by his three sons and their wives, Alan and Audrey (Handkins) Biby and David and Paula (Issler) Biby of Mulkeytown and Brian and Kathy (Destefano) Biby of Portage, IN; grandchildren, William Biby of Mulkeytown and Daniel Biby and Michelle Ahlfeld of Portage; and sister, Alice Lundblad of Mulkeytown. Preceding him in death were his wife, parents, one sister, Laura Jean Bartels and infant brother, Robert. Jim worked at the Norge plant in Herrn from which he retired in 1990 after 37 years. He also, along with his wife, managed the Mulkeytown Water District for 29 years from its inception, retiring in 2004. From 1973 through 1997, he served Tyrone Township as a trustee and clerk. Except for his family, his greatest pride was the "home in the woods" he and his wife conceived and built and where they spent many happy years. He was a member of the Mulkeytown Christian Church. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 13, 2005 at 1 p.m. at the Gilbert Funeral Home, Christopher, Illinois, Brother Kurt Jensen & Rev. Dean Guymond officiating, with visitation after 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial in the Mulkeytown Cemetery in Mulkeytown, IL.
Published in the Post-Tribune (Gary, IN) on 1/11/2005.

No relation to the deceased.

EUREKA - Bertha Maydean Biby, 73, of Eureka, died Nov. 8, 1998, at her home.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the New Life Assembly of God Church in Eureka. Pastor Mike Krager will officiate. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Americus Cemetery.

A memorial has been established with the New Life Assembly of God Church. Contributions can be made through the church or Campbell-Kelley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 595, Eureka, KS 67045-0595.

Biby was born Nov. 22, 1924, in Americus, to Edward and Clara (Gilner) Reaka. She graduated from Americus High School in 1943.

On Sept. 8, 1943, she married Wallace Eugene Biby in Wichita. They made their home in Wichita for over 24 years before moving to Eureka in 1987.

A homemaker, Biby was a member of the New Life Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her husband, Wallace Biby, Eureka; seven sons, Dean Biby and Warren Biby, both of Tucson, Ariz., Chauncey Biby, Eureka, Marcus Biby, El Dorado, Russell Biby, Emporia, Richard Biby, Wichita, and Sam Biby, Winfield; a daughter, Clara Gaw, Olympia, Wash.; a brother, Byron Reaka, Reading; a sister, Ida Mae Reaka, Wichita; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Melinda Goates, preceded her in death.

I am researching Jesse Honeycutt from Oklahoma his dad was James Thurman honeycutt born in Arkansas 1925, lived in Oklahoma and Nebraska, died 1999. wife was Anna Ford died 2002 buried in Oklahoma.
