Thanks for replying, Bill. I believe these are two different George Bices. Mine (a great grandfather) lived at least until around 1910 when we lose track of him in the records. He was the first "colored sheepman" in Wyoming at the end of the 19th C.Interestingly, the family moved to Pennsylvania (Blair County) around 1910 though George himself was born in VA. He may have passed for white as well since he was enlisted to play Santa Claus in Wyoming during a Christmas party.
