Two children are listed, a son, Joseph, age 4, and a daughter, Annie, age 2, both born in Missouri. Also listed is a brother to Conrad, named Joseph, age 40, as a farm hand. Also listed is a Henry Woerning, age 37. Also listed is George Heckner, age 29, as a farm hand. George is from Switzerland. We believe that his sister is Maria (Mary) Heckner Kuring Hess also from Switzerland, born Dec. 1844, who is our direct ancestor. Mary Heckner married Charles Kuring in Clinton Co., IL in 1862. We are searching for Mary's Heckner relatives and found this about George which we think is her brother. Want to know if Bichler and Heckner families are connected. Listed on Census as living near Clark Road and by River Depair, correct spelling is River Des Peres
