I have a Nicholas Bick b. 1821 in Prussia d. 1914 Raabs Corner, Ohio (south of Toledo) he was married to Catherine (sometimes listed a Katharina, as it is on her gravestone) Brown b. 1832 in Bavaria d. 1896 in Raabs Corner. Their male children, whom survived childhood, were George b. 1852, Jacob b. 1865, and John b. 1875. There were several Bick families in the area whom, to the best of my knowledge, were not related. But from family oral tradition Nicholas Bick never wanted to talk about his parents or other family, his parents are listed as unknown on his death certificate.
